Marbled ream paper project realized by Glasgow-based artist Tom Godfrey. On Tom's site I also found a link to another interesting project called pyramidd.biz for which he has created one of the monthly backgrounds. Reams pictured in collaboration with (from top) Matt Jamieson, David Osbaldeston, and Sean Edwards.

ANCIENT GLASS

On a recent trip to the British Museum: "The original appearance of these vessels is difficult to imagine because they are usually heavily weathered. This modern copy gives a vivid idea of how beautiful they once were."
On the right, an original Sasanian cut glass bowl from the 6th century AD, and on the left is a modern reproduction by Japanese glass artist Tami Ishida.

Interior designer Kelly Wearstler's office in LA, along with a chair and some other pretty things she's designed for Bergdorf Goodman.

NINA SAUNDERS

Danish sculptor Nina Saunders, who lives and works in London, makes insane melting furniture. In the top image, she has teamed with shoemaker Tracey Neuls and textile manufacturer Sanderson in honor of Sanderson's 150th anniversary, which also happens to coincide with London fashion week. The installation, titled "Most Curious", is presented in Tracey's store TN29 at 29 Marylebone Lane, and runs through 30th June 2010. The black melting armchair is from Nina's website.
